By using our website or services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Who we are
Swelo, LLC is a Utah limited liability company located at 3643 W 650 N, Layton, UT 84041, United States. For any privacy question or request, contact us at info@swelo.co. For the purposes of the EU/UK GDPR, Swelo is the “controller” of personal data collected through our own website and account systems, and a “processor” for personal data our business customers process through their storefronts.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account & contact details — name, work email, phone number, company name, and password when you create an account or submit a form.
- Order & storefront data — shipping addresses, order contents, sizes, artwork/logos, and preferences you submit when shopping or placing bulk orders.
- Payment information — processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Communications — messages, support requests, and survey or feedback responses you send us.
Information collected automatically
- Usage & device data — pages viewed, clicks, referring URLs, IP address, browser and device type, and similar analytics data, collected via cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
- Product analytics & session insights — we use PostHog to understand how the platform is used. Where required by law, this is only active after you consent through our cookie banner.
3. How we use your information
- Provide, operate, and secure our website and platform;
- Create and manage your account and process orders;
- Process payments and subscriptions;
- Communicate with you about your account, orders, and support;
- Send marketing and newsletter emails where you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time);
- Analyze and improve our products, features, and user experience;
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide the services you request), legitimate interests (to secure and improve our services), consent (for marketing and non-essential cookies), and legal obligation.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described here:
- Service providers (sub-processors) who process data on our behalf under contract:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, authentication, and file storage |
| Vercel | Application hosting and content delivery |
| Stripe | Payment processing and subscription billing |
| Resend | Transactional and account email delivery |
| Mailchimp | Newsletter and marketing email |
| PostHog | Product analytics and session insights |
| OneSource (DistributorCentral / OMG) | Product catalog data |
| Calendly | Meeting scheduling |
- Business customers — if you use a company storefront, the company that operates that storefront receives the data you submit to it (e.g., orders and shipping details).
- Legal & safety — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Swelo, our users, or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
5. International data transfers
We are based in the United States, and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal data out of the EU/UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent.
- EU/UK (GDPR) — you may exercise the rights above and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
- California (CCPA/CPRA) — you may request access to and deletion of your personal information, and opt out of “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@swelo.co. You can also manage cookie preferences at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in our website footer.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children’s privacy
Our services are intended for business use by individuals who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Effective” date above. Material changes may be communicated by email or an in-product notice.
